Looking to buy an authentic Tiger Katana? The Hanwei Tiger Katana is a nostalgic reissue of the original SH1204, renowned for its craftsmanship and traditional Japanese design. With a stunning K120C powder steel blade, this katana offers the perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality, ideal for collectors and martial artists alike.

The blade is differentially tempered using a traditional clay method, producing a beautiful grain pattern (hada) and a distinct temper line (hamon). Additionally, the katana features a groove (bo-hi) on both sides, reducing the blade’s weight without compromising its strength.

The handle (tsuka) is carefully wrapped in authentic ray skin (same) and covered with Japanese cotton for a comfortable grip. The tsuba (guard) is crafted from blackened iron, depicting a stalking tiger, inlaid with brass accents, adding a touch of elegance and symbolism.

The saya (scabbard) is deeply lacquered in black and embellished with brass bamboo leaves, complementing the katana’s overall beauty.

This classic katana is part of a matching daisho set, which includes the Tiger Wakizashi (SH1205) and Tiger Tanto (SH1206), allowing you to complete your collection.
